Today at 12:15 or so I was uncertain what I craved for nourishment. Many times I eat at my desk, whether I go out to buy it or bring something from home. Today I had an invite for lunch on Friday just because a couple of the girls (Rita & May) want to get together and "catch up" so I'm game for that.
I ventured outside, a bit cool but no cooler than the over worked air conditioner in the office. (Even *I* was a bit chilly inside.) I walked on past the market and decided to check out New Tribe the closet piercing / tattoo parlour to work on Queen St just east of John. It's upstairs. I had been there before with Arlene. A tattoo place a bit further west on Queen got ruled out due to proximity. Adriana accompanied to that one and both her and Arlene would "be there" for my very first tattoo.
Today however, I checked out New Tribe to inquire about getting my 15-year old daughter's belly button pierced. They'll do it if I'm there with her. Great. We want it done prior to the end of the month before we leave on vacation (I want to take her, rather than her mother, for her 15th birthday in July). I am also still considering a tattoo. I saw a couple Canadian flags in their books, both of which I liked and considered before actually (just the outline but one of them I liked the filled-in look). I also want an "L" (like the "L" from Laverne & Shirley) - $80 and both names in the smallest font (Brittany & Benjamin) would be $80 for both. Brittany's piercing is $50 including jewelry.
I later learned the karate grading is being changed from Saturday, June 28th (the day we planned to head to NB) to Tuesday, June 24th. That's also the end of school so we'll go back to New Tribe either June 25, 26 or 27th.
I ended up getting greens, asparagus and mushrooms for lunch along with a banana.

Do you have your belly botton pierced? I had mine for over 15 years! Choose your tattoo wisely as you will have to wear it for a long time! I bet Brittany is excited about the piercing!
Yes, I've had mine pierced since October 31, 1999. It was when the other "fitbuddies" got theirs done for the first time (other than you cuz apparently you already had yours pierced!). Shana, Kara and Melinda too I think all got them done but I believe everybody except me has since removed them... it makes sense for you though as you had a baby. :)
Brittany is happy with her piercing; she already has a new ring in it. :) I rarely change mine. I wear a gold ring with "faux" diamond.
